''Tadbir'' is an acronym for '' The Alternative Development Bank of Ideas for Reconstruction" and effectively constitutes a 'think tank of the people.Well-know writer Sarwar Abidi concived the idea for Tadbir some years ago, but it came to frution only recently when Shahid Haq- the Managing Director of PARCO[the Pak-Arab Refinery Limited multinational]- decided to sponsor it in the national interst.PARCO already sponsor other activities related to culture and the arts,and supports. Tadbir in order to promote new way of thinking amongest people of pakistan.Given the widespread accessibility of the internet in pakistan today,it is the perfect medium for the think tank.Tadbir will act as a model for other interactive websites that will provide opportunities for a large number of concerned citizens to engage in dialogue with each other and the government''to pool their thinking for a constructive purpose.''The Tadbir website invites proposals from visitors and even offers cash reward for the most innovative ideas.These ideas adding comments and suggestion,then places them on the website where others can add their own suggestion.Once the idea is finallised into a comprehensive proposal,.Tadbir has given us a good platform to combine resources.
